A Bungling good time!

It's been a while....I've had some telstra related internet issues that are yet to be resolved, so I am limiting my computer time, plus, I think I need the break, certainly can't hurt.

Last week I had the opportunity to hitch a lift on a Bungle ground tour that B was taking. Northwest Regional Airlines also conduct ground tours of Purnululu NP in conjunction with East Kimblerley tours (I cannot rate those guys high enough, they are fabulous, especially our guide Bruce, who in the first 5mins of our tour was out of the bus to try and catch the below frill necked lizard and picked flowers for the ladies! Onya Bruce!!)

Here is a little photo montage....

That's our pilot, bit of a cutie!

Such a dork, no idea who that is...

One of the Qantas adds was filmed in this here spot. Stunning

Even though it was a very hot day, close to 40 degrees, it was such a fantastic experience, I would love to see it again after the wet, when the creeks have water, and the landscape it greener. Once again I feel so fortunate to be able to have these experiences.

Not much else to report of late, we have both been working lots, running when we can, enjoying some magnificent Kimberley sunsets, and working on finding that work/life balance.

I am personally on a mission to find a hobby, that will consume my free time, and get me away from the computer screen and TV, I have a few ideas in the pipeline, for which I am planning another post.

This afternoon I am making our Christmas cake, a fast developing tradition.

Excuse the brevity, a wordy post will be out soon, enjoy the photos.

Stay happy, and keep dancing! xoxo

  1. Wow, looks beautiful, especially walking into Picaninny Gorge! How are you coping with the heat and dryness?

What are you thinking of for hobbies? Can't wait to hear! I don't know what I'd do without a hobby!

    1. Ha, the heat has been testing, luckily most of my time is spent indoors, and there is always air-conditioning on. It's really only my walk to and from work, to the shops etc. We try to run as late in the evening as we can before it is too dark (no daylight savings here!), but it's exhausting, I really miss cool weather, crisp mornings and green. Just hanging out for the wet, then at least it will be beautiful.

I have never really had the need for a precise hobby, I guess with study, socialising and life, it hasn't been a big deal. I'm really only now realising, that I can't just read books all day, I really want to do something with my hands, or something more practical. Wish I could draw like you! I would be a happy happy camper!! LOL

Lots of love to you. xox
